On August 30, 2014, a group of believers from Slippery Rock and the surrounding areas embarked on a journey to establish a new church. United by a shared vision, they set out to create a place of worship rooted in biblical teaching. Along the way, they have experienced both mountaintop joys and deep valleys, yet through it all, God has remained faithful.
Crossroads Baptist Church was founded with a simple yet profound mission: to preach the Word of God, worship through timeless hymns and spiritual songs—and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with all who will listen. In addition to heartfelt worship, the church hosts four Southern gospel concerts each year.
At Crossroads, we have seen lives transformed by the power of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Today, we are blessed with an interim pastor who faithfully teaches solid biblical truths on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM and Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. On Sunday mornings, we gather for a 9:30 AM Sunday school class followed by our worship service at 10:30 AM, where we welcome guest preachers each week.
